The Slavs, ancestors of the Slovaks, arrived in the area in the 5th or 6th century.
After WW II and the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Slovaks and Czechs created a mutual state, Czechoslovakia, until Slovakia became an independent state in 1993 and Czechoslovakia was dissolved peacefully. Physician density is at approximately 2.3 per 1,000 individuals residing in the country, and hospital beds are at 11.5 available per 1,000 residents.

Tallinn is the largest city and capital with almost 395,000 people. Foreign investment in the country is also high due to the skilled and inexpensive workforce. The president appoints the Prime Minister, 3 constitutional court judges, and 3 judicial council members. However, they differentiate themselves from many other nations because of how well people of all belief systems coexist peacefully.
The average life expectancy from 2013 WHO data is 81.6 years, which is 16th in the world.
The rule of law is carried out by a multi-party parliamentary system that is overseen by both the president and the prime minister. The country’s birthrate is currently 1.19 children per mother, one of the lowest in the world that is only larger than birthrates in Taiwan, Singapore, Macau and Hong Kong.

The 2011 census found that most residents are Slovaks (80.7%), with Hungarians representing the second-largest ethnic group (8.5%).
Although there has been a significant increase in life expectancy since 1950, South Korea still faces numerous problems in relation to healthcare. The ethnic breakdown is currently 69% Estonian, 25% Russian, 2% Ukranian, 1% Belarusians, 0.8% Finns and 1.6% other. Today, there are just 2,300 Jews in Slovakia.

Most people living in Slovakia practice some form of Christianity. In 2016 a bill was passed that required religions to have at least 50,000 participants to be recognized officially by the state.
The economy in Slovakia has been changing in recent years, as they joined the EU in 2004 and began using the euro in 2009, which contributed to a substantial increase in their GDP and a doubling of the amount of tourism coming into the country.
One of the major issues it faces is the impact of the environmental pollution on increasing urbanization which has an adverse effect upon life expectancy. The largest city and capital is Seoul, which has a population of just under 10 million. After the reconstitution of independence, large-scale emigration of ethnic Russians occurred and ethnic Estonians in the country rose to 69%.
Today, Estonia is an ethnically heterogeneous country, with one county having 99% Estonians.
However, the birthrate still remains low and if this continues, the population is expected to decrease by 13% to 42.3 million in 2050 and extinction by 2750 is a possibility. Prior to World War II, there were 135,000 Jews in the country.
